 I'm Posting 5 charts here Which Clearly tells you the Importance of Moving Averages as a Major tool in predicting a Major Breakout in a stock or a major Support , and Also Gives you the clue to hold your Position for Longer and Profitable period of the time.  Many were Buying XYZ stock at X rs and sold in a profit of 2/4%. after some time or month stock run like a mad then they thing they might be unlucky :D 

I'm Not saying that if you know about  moving avgs you'll become an Analyst , No and Never, Its Just a Tool or part of Technical analysis.
